It is multibeam radiotherapy, known as Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR), will treat the condition far more quickly with fewer side effects compared to standard (external beam) radiotherapy.
- New vaccine for Dengue - the world’s first single dose vaccine given in Brazil. But is has been suspended as two healthcare workers died after receiving it and 42 unexpected adverse events were reported.
- In hospital under Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was find after a patient who died of infection after having a shower with Pseudomonas bacteria (BMJ 2026 ; 393: e100003)
