"The silence of good people is far more dangerous than the rise of bad people".

Dear / Respected Citizens of Sri Lanka,
You are requested to read this message, please.
In three days, most people in Sri Lanka will receive this message.
Every citizen of Sri Lanka must speak up for this: The following restrictions are necessary, aren't they?
01
A) Age limits should be introduced to Members of Parliament (40 to 60).
(B) Members of Parliament should not receive a pension as it is not a job but an election under the Representation of the People Act. There is no retirement without a barrier to re-employment but they can be re-elected to that position. (Currently they only get a pension after 5 years of service!).
02.
The salaries of Members of Parliament should be revised in accordance with the Central Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
(Currently, they arbitrarily increase / increase wages by voting for themselves!)

03.
Members of Parliament should lose their current health care system and participate in the healthcare system like the general public in Sri Lanka.
04.
All benefits such as free travel, free rations, free electricity, free water and free telephone services should be abolished. (Not only do they get these reliefs - they increase them regularly - boldly and unashamedly!)
05.
Members of Parliament with defamatory reports, criminal allegations and convicts (past or present) should be briefly barred from Parliament and by any pretext for any election.
06.
The financial losses caused by incumbent politicians must be recovered from them, their families, nominees and property.
07
Members of Parliament must abide by all the rules laid down on the common people.

08
All subsidies available to Members of Parliament and Members of Parliament, including subsidized food at the Parliament canteen, should be withdrawn.
09
Once they are elected, they must remain in the same party - otherwise they must justify their views and re-enter politics by popular will.
10
They should not be allowed to compete with another party and, in addition, the possibility of switching parties should be eliminated (they can be bought with our own public money because there are laws that can change parties).

Remember:
It is an honor to serve Parliament.
But it is not a lucrative job to plunder .

Don't you think it's time to raise this issue? Agree and share for our benefit and future generations. ⁇
Let us begin to build a prosperous, law abiding and prosperous country for the betterment of the future of our children.
